No matter if you\u2019re restricted in terms of square footage, or you\u2019ve got tonnes to play with, space is specified by the vibe.<\/p>\n<p>A very common rule of thumb for when you open a full-on yoga studio is to allot 21 square feet per practitioner. This is a good place to start at home, as well. You should have sufficient room for a yoga mat in addition to extra space to stretch out into, for example, Warrior or Dancer poses.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure that you\u2019re a safe distance from any walls or furniture in case you lose your balance, specifically if you\u2019re into inversions (because sometimes, headstands don\u2019t go the way you planned).<\/p>\n<p>Finally, what makes a yoga space is the aim behind it, whether you have an entire room to work with or just a small corner of your bedroom.
