Well, she\u2019s right, as long as she\u2019s talking about green tea. Green tea is one of the least processed forms of tea available. This means that the good chemicals that are naturally present in the tea leaves aren\u2019t removed in a factory.<\/p>\n<p>Green tea is something\u00a0 of an acquired taste, but you can always consume it as an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.liptontea.com\/article\/detail\/997797\/how-to-make-green-iced-tea\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iced tea <\/a>(flavoured with a small squeeze of lemon and a drop of honey, for example), to make it more flavourful and refreshing.\u00a0 And seeing as it has an impressive list of benefits, you really can\u2019t afford NOT to include it in your daily diet.<\/p>\n<h2>Benefits of drinking green tea<\/h2>\n<h2>1.\u00a0It boasts anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Green tea is rich in polyphenols \u2013 an antioxidant micronutrient. In fact, green tea is widely regarded as the tea with the highest concentration of polyphenols. These act as antioxidants and <a href=\"https:\/\/trifocusfitnessacademy.co.za\/nutrition-blog\/an-anti-inflammatory-diet-what-to-eat-why-it-matters\/\">anti-inflammatories<\/a> in the body; they actively reduce ageing in the body, by keeping harmful free radicals in check.
